fuel sump... when is it necessary
hey i was searching around on here today and didnt really get any good answers on why or when a aftermarket fuel sump is needed. assuming you are running a stock tank. is there a certain horsepower level when an intank pump isnt sufficient,. thanks for any info. I currently have a walboro intank 255 and will be running 880cc injectors hoping for well over 400whp. will this be ok? I have hondata and a aeromotive regulator as well.

If you don't have a sump with a external fuel pump, you will have fuel starvation if you brake hard or in a down hill position with out alot of fuel in the tank. I would recommend just go get one fabbed. Not worth the risk if you starve during a race.

If you keep fuel in tank at [at least] at the halfway mark all the time, do you still need an external sump?
