Default Fuel return line

I recently upgraded my fuel system well actually in the process of it I got a aeromotive inline filter and pump the pump is the A-1000 and i am going to run a 8an fuel line most likely stainless, I was looking at the fuel regulators which one should I run and does anyone know if the line from fuel regulater to tank needs to be upgraded or just run the stock line with the factory fuel pump housing on top of tank with know pump (do to inline) to plug the hole

Also I know I can search but does anyone have an idea how to cut the tank for a full-race sump

I'm running the A1000 also, but I'm using 5/8" aluminum fuel feed line and using the stock feed line for the return. Why only going to run -8an?

As for the sump, if you get the full race sump it comes with a templet to use to measure and drill the holes. Here I have this pics of what my car looks like to explain it better....

The pump clearance is fine. It was on the ground the other day and the only thing that may become a problem is the feed line where it goes about 6 inches from the pump before it bends. I have to finish mounting the pump and wiring it and all that but if the line is a problem I'll add another bend after the pump to get it away from the ground or even a -10an 45 on the pump. The line is pretty easy to work. To hell with those expensive -an fittings, one of those cost me what my entire feed line did, and I have lots left over lol

If i remember I'll try to get some pics with my broke *** camera next time its on the ground.

The pump is even with the bottom of the sump. The line is the only concern but a little push on it should fix it. I'll get more pics.
