fuel question
i have a built block, but i put on my turbo kit after breaking in my motor. so i went to my shop to put on an inline fuel pump. they told me to go with the intank walboro 255lph pump. so i did... running stock injectors and a 12:1 FMU disk.
now i drove the car hit about 5 lbs of boost and my autometer A/F guage went into the red. im wondering why am i running lean..according to the guage??
should i have just kept the FMU??

Re: fuel question (B18C-RnVA)
You need to run an inline fuel pump with the high rise rate FMU. The regular Walbro 255lph intank can't supply the needed fuel at high fuel pressures.

If you were to get a pump the one you should have gotten was the 255lph high pressure intank fuel pump.Walbro/holley makes one.
Now that you have the high flow pup it will work great for when you get the stand alone and larger injectors...

Re: fuel question (b16ahybrid)
From what Arturbo told me a long time ago when I was just doing a basic DRAG setup on my GSR, 12:1 FMU, Inline pump, STOCK in-tank pump. And no more than 6-7psi.
Another thing he told me was K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid)
But regardless of a stock motor or built, I wouldn't put a turbo kit on my car until I had a standalone. Ask anyone on this board and I think most would agree.
