Default high pressue fuel pump

what is a good intank fuel pump that doesn't need modification(i heard the bosch pump needs modification to fit) for about $200? i had a holly 255lph pump but i had to return it (doesn't work)i have a 12:1 fmu and i'm running 7 psi so i need something that can supply fuel at the higher fuel pressures.i was looking at the back of the hooly box and it showed a chart and the pump supplied more fuel but only at normal pressure levels and droped off to stock at about 90psi (and that is where i need the extra fuel)any part #'s would be great thanks. does anybody use the holly pump and does it get the job done"

I dont think there is any. Only the bosch modified I personally can handle high fuel pressures. Walbro=Holley=JR IMO will not handle the high fuel pressures caused by the fmu.

what do people run to keep from leaning out?do you think that a holly 255lph could handle a 8:1 fmu (in therory 102 psi of fuel) 8 psi of boost

I think you should be ok with the Holley/walbro at 8:1, but you want make fuel your #1 priority. No fuel, no motor...

If you want something that will handle the high fuel pressures, get a bosch..

Arturbo,

I'm not sure if you have any experience with an MF2 setup, but they run lower fuel pressures right? Would a Holley 255lph work fine on that setup? Ya, I've heard that they suck at high fuel pressures, I'm just not sure how high the pressure is on a MF2 setup.

the MF2 will not require a high pressure pump because you are adding fuel through volume not pressure.
