Default fuel pressure wont hold!!

...every time i turn off the car, i can watch my fuel pressure gauge drop, until i just hits 0 psi....when i start the car, i need to wait for the fuel pump to build the pressure to even start the car, and if i get on it good and hard while im driving i get a check engine light......ive tried 'pulling the codes' and so have others, but for some reason - it just dosnt.... another intersting fact i noticed, is that my gas tank does not hiss when i open the cap - obviously because the fuel pressure is leaking out......and i might be getting the check engine light because its kinda like when people leave their gas caps off and get a check engine light....
any theories on what my problem might be?
ive checked for leaky injectors, replaced them with known good working injectors, there is no fuel on or around any of the visible fuel system...

any input or advice would be greatly appreciated

thanks
MARLON

The diaphram in my fuel pressure regulator went bad. When I turned off the car the fuel pressure would drop too fast. It was hard to start the car. The engine was misfiring. The exhaust sounded crazy.

what do ya mean the diaphram? mine does that too now... not as fast as your rate probably, but still quicker than before. I've got mine hooked onto the B&M regulator, and my pressure you to take about 20 minutes or so to drop close to 0, but now I can see it drop every 20 sec. Could it be the lines too?
