Fuel Pressure help!!

Default Fuel Pressure help!!

I just install my turbo today..with the fmu,rc370cc,fuel pump.i tried the vortech fpr , but now i got the stock one on..I get a reading of 0psi on my guage.before the guage work but now it just sits at 0 or it barely move up to 15psi when i step on it..I took it for a test run everything okay no bog or no stutter at all.but the psi sit very low..can someone please help with this..

are you running an inline pump? Where is the gauge mounted? If the gauge is mounted on the fuel filter, like the B&M is, and you are running an inline pump, you won't see any fuel pressure there.

yeah i am running a inline pump..its mountin right there by the bov on the wheel wall just right there by the battery..and the guage is mounted on the fuel filter.

So it is connected after the filter than. Like Vapor said, that will **** up the reading off the guage. You will have to relocate it to the fuel rail.

oh okay thankx guys..one more question what size fitting do u use for the oil feed line>?

I just did a turbo on a 95 honda accord and my guage was reading 0 too, I have an external fuel pump, but the guage is before it on the filter, do I need to do the same and move it up to the rail?

If by before the pump, you mean closer to the gas tank then yes. If not, the guage is probably broken.

i have been here since january i have have seen about 5 post like this. you think they would put some kind of FAQ about this in the fuel pump documentation. But then again i dont read instructions untill i get stumped or i have to crap. my 2 cents

put the pump before the gauge and it will be fine

1/8 npt for the back of the block. For my turbo its a 1/4 but others have 1/8.
