a pic of my motor
i am not ready to put this on vortex just yet (i want to finish it), but i have no objection to putting it here
.
2.0 16v, 9:1 comp via stacked gaskets and arp studs, stock bottom end (because its strong and works), homemade exhaust manifold with sch 40 "L"s and "T"s, T3 off merkur (.60/.63 a/rs), chopped shortened and re-welded stock 16v intake manifold (it looks stock because its cast aluminum), honda fuel rail re-drilled for 14mm ford motorsport red tops( i am hoping this works, the spacing is slightly off), bosch digifant 1 engine management system off a corrado G60 (designed by VW and bosch for forced induction) with custom SNS tuning chip, european intake cam, 2.5" downpipe and exhaust, no cat, audi IC, custom tubing (not in pic).

Cool. You do realize this is a honda/acura board right? Ok, just checking.
Seems like a nice JYT setup. Backyard innovation on a german car---who would have ever thought.

It's a nice setup, i'm sure it'll do well.... but don't you think that's one fugly engine? I know it's not performance related but damn, made me a little queezy there
part of it is due to my camera and sanner, also it isnt fully completed so the wiring looks like *****, and a lot of the stuff in there is out of order. i am hoping it will look better when it is done and has all the piping in.
in person it looks a lot cleaner compared to the old system. it used to have mechanical bosch injection (a whole mess of braided fuel lines) and a bunch of emissions crap in there.
oh and about the above post, i cant sense sarcasm online, so.... are you serious? if you are, what is a real vdub?
