fuel pressure drop?
driving around today i decide to have a littel fun getting on to the freeway. floor it in 3rd and about 6K rpms i start to bog. im like wtf? right before i reach my house i try to get into boost agian and it bogs.
i get home pop the hood and i notice the my fuel pressure gauge is at 40psi when it should be at 48psi. i give the car a little gas by flipping the throttle rotor and the pressure goes back up. now im starting to think
could it be that my B&M FPR took a **** on me or could my walbro 255 be going bad?
i have heard of stories of these FPR's going bad. i have never heard of anything going wrong with walbro pumps so i am leaning more toward the FPR..........can anyone give me some feedback.
also if it is my FPR, would the AEM FPR be a better choice?

Re: fuel pressure drop? (dirtySOHC's)
i dont trust the b&m just because you have to hack the stock fpr to put it on... check your fuel parts. change the fuel filter...and double check the fuel pump filter.
try using another fpr..that could simply be the problem.

how are you checking your fuel pressure? your pulling the vac line and plugging it rite? just makin sure. are you running stock injectors? that seems the only reason you'd have ur fuel pressure so high. maybe ur stock injectors are maxing out.

Re: fuel pressure drop? (Pengo)
im running dsm 450's. i might have to just change the FPR becuase thats all i can really narrow it down to.
if i turn the boost down to about 6psi it would do three or so good pulls then it would start to stutter agian.
