Do you have a fuel pressure regulator? If noti would start there, at least you can get that fuel pressure turned down, no blue box either?

no blue box and no fpr. so u recommend me getting a fpr? which brand? i used to have an aem fpr but since i didnt have any gauges to monitor the a/f ratio, it was very hard to adjust the fuel pressure. even though now i have a autometer a/f gauge, it will not really help in tuning the fuel because it's not accurate enough.

i would get a FPR and see what ur getting for pressure...even tho the stock one is in the 30's..the 255 may be too strong and may be pushing pressure past the stock FPR. I find it hard to believe it would be THAT rich tho..hmm..

yea...u should get a fpr, and a guage, then u'll know what kinda pressure ur getting. If not...you could go for a AFC of some sort; those work well too.

i have the gauges----both the b&m gauge in the engine bay and the autometer a/f gauge. but does the car running too rich be adjusted only with the fpr? this has something to do with the ecu, right? i dont get it, please help me out.

if i must get a piggy-back system, which one do u recommend? i was looking at the simplest s-afc, the cheapest i can find is still $250.

How can you run a turbo without any fuel management, a fuel pump is not enough.
Are you sure you don't have anyhing, who install you that kit, your girlfriend ex?

Greddy kit are supposed to come with a FMU, a blue box or a e-manage I think, if you don't have any of these, stop using your car now or you will blow everything.

The pump may do the job by making you very rich to maybe 3 4 psi but after that you will detonate alot and blow your engine.

If you don't have fuel management, don't drop your fuel pressure, and by the way, don't boost.

according to what u said, maybe i m very lucky. i been boosting 5-8psi for 2 years now and without any problems except fot running rich. but i still get 33-34 mpg per tank. the kit was used when i bought it and it did not come with the blue box.

timing was retarted and adjusted well so there was zero detonation throughout the 2 years.

the only FPR you can get for under 100 is the B&M. and i heard its not great. and dude listen to me... STOP DRIVING YOUR CAR untill you get at least a RRR or something. you are asking for trouble.
