what size intercooler will fit perfect without trouble in an eg hatch

Almost every intercooler is going to require at least a little modification to fit perfectly. The small PTE350 should fit, as does the JRC 6" and CCA 6"....the last two are becoming increasingly hard to find

For your goal of 250whp, most any smaller intercooler will work. I wouldnt suggest Ebay parts for most setups, but the difference on low horsepower setups is negligible. Ebay intercoolers dont cool the air charge as well as something like a Precision, but you wont need to be overly concerned with that since you'll be on low boost anyway.

I just got a greddy intercooler 32x12x3 and i fit it in a stock bumper but it toke some work haha

What are the dimensions on that bad mama jama? Thing looks super itty bitty but pictures can be deceiving.

The core is 24x6.3x3 and is rated by garrett to 475 hp.
