if its autometer, when you pull the light out theres an open hole and if you look inside, you can see a brass ring inside thats pretty big. (kinda hard to explain) But if you mess around with that ring kinda pushing and pulling with a small screwdriver youll notice how the needle moves. Ive gotten a couple of gauges for free cause of the same problem. You just have to kinda bend that ring until it gets the needle back on 0.

i'm going to sound like a cheap *** on this one, but when i got my boost gauge, it was perfect. It was at 0 and brand new....then i dropped it on the ground by accident. It actually broke inside...a little plastic piece busted off. I decided what the hell...i'm going to take it apart and fix it. I cut the back off, took it all apart and fixed the broken piece. After that, i bent the little metal dealie back and calibrated it with a working vac gauge on another car. It reads perfectly and has for about 1.5 years now....nobody would ever know....

They're fairly easy to fix if you want to put the time into it...if nothing else, you'll learn something in the process
