is FMU really nessasary for a turbo setup?

Default H22 Turbo fuel management HELP!

i have AEM Fuel Rail and FPR VAFC, and MF2(dunno if i will be able to hook it up to work), i need suggestion on what else do i need to get to complete my turbo setup, it will be for a t3/t60-1 running 5-8psi of boost

run the fmu or you will run so lean at 5psi you will blow the engine.....sell a bunch of stuff and buy some real fuel management. You will be alot happier in the end

Dude, if you're only going to run 5-8psi why would you want that huge *** turbo?
It's not going to be efficient until like 10psi anyway. Why not just run something a little more efficient?

Oh yeah, and run the FMU or rebuild your motor in a month.

FMU's are crappy, dont even mess with those - u metioned u have a AFC , throw some 450cc dsm injectors and run the hack if ur going to stay under 10psi - it works great, and its excellent fuel management vs an FMU. you also mention u have an MF2 - isnt that the little computer that controls the 2 extra 550cc injectors from the FMAX turbo kit? why dont u hook that up along with a 2 bar map sensor, i hear those are good for up to 20psi....
