DSM Injector issue, not warm starting
I hear so much about everyones issues with DSM injectors and often they seem to be when the engine is hot. Although, with my car its never when its hot only when its cold. It runs excessively rich in fuel and has a hard time idleing, until it warms up.
Sometimes the Canister turns on, I can hear it sucking.
This has pretty much been going on since I had my car tunned, here's my setup
96 Integra LS
Strait T3
Walbro pump
DSM 450cc
Hondata s100
So ya I have been thinking about burning a few of chips for the car as I have a pocket programmer and my ECU should allready be set up to be socketed. Maybe I can correct this issue? Any thoughts???
Also, does anyone else have issues like this with the DSMs.
Thanks,
Ian

this was in the hondata forums awhile back. alot of people have no problems with dsm 450's though. did you have them cleaned and balanced?? you are running a resistor box right?? is it hooked up right??. also try the fuel pressure like SOFLSOL said

Re: (TeStUdO)
Ya I think I will get a FPR, but which one should I get.
But for some reason I don't think its that as the car starts fine when warm at the same pressure.
It has to be something to do with the engines Cold sturt up maybe the IAT sensor or something like that. Does anyone know of any devices that would have their hand in starting a cold engine?

Re: (turboteg96)
I believe this problem is related to not being able to adjust the warm start map thru the hondata software. I think the hondata software just burns a set warm start map among other things to every chip. I think this because I know several people who are using rc injectors and have the same problem.
