Default FMU Question for turbo

Im installing a turbo kit in my D16 and need to buy the rest of the parts. And i read that if you have an FMU that you wont have to mess with your stock ECU. but wouldnt you still have to tune it and what not??

FMU's cant be tuned and there crap. Ditch the FMU and get a VAFC or something along those lines.

If you really dont want to mess with the ecu then go and get the FMU. But be warned there not the best thing to have.

You have to hook the VAFC into your ecu.
