FMU vs. VAFC
Well, right now, i and planning to install a turbo soon enuff, but i want to make sure i have everything. I have heard mixed things with the vafc with fmu, or just fmu, or just vafc. I want to run a vafc and a fmu, and i want to make sure it is a good idea.
thanks

No.
its not fmu OR vafc
its FMU or injectors and a fuel pump with VAFC tuning.
i wouldnt trust a FMU above 8psi, so make your decision based on how much boost you want to run.

SkyeC : flat out hilarious pic.
P_tOwn : you're not postwhoring, the guy who responded to you without actually helping you in any way is.
In my opinion, go with an upgraded fuel pump, injectors, and a v-afc. Of course if you don't mind spending a little bit more and you have access to a reliable and good tuner, try to go for a hondata.
good luck.

well then, here is how this works.
if you want to run 12psi EVENTUALLY on this same engine, you are going to have to tune it twice.
once for 6psi, once for 12 whenever you get around to running that much.
you CAN NOT USE A FMU AND INJECTORS at the same time.
one or the other, never both.
so it looks like injectors for you. its ok, i trust a real fuel setup anyway, never did trust a FMU that much...

Re: FMU vs. VAFC (Kamin)
And anyway, go along w/ Kamin...
You have to remember, even at 6psi, with a 12:1 regulator, you're pushing your fuel rail close to 100psi of fuel pressure. That will lock open your injectors at a certain point.
