afc hack = old tech
fmu = old tech
why not run crome or equivilent?
the reason you dont need the fmu on the hack, is because the 440's can make up the needed volume through the modified map signal. the fmu makes up the needed volume by cramming the extra fuel through the injectors, via high pressure.
dude, do it right the first time.

i'm running a 12:1 fmu right now because i thought it would be okay until i could tune.. but honestly it sucks.. its fine for short term but it backfires above 6500 and generally blows in all aspects

Agreed, I have run FMU setups in the past (DISTANT past) and there is no comparison. Just run crome the first time and enjoy the fact your driveabilty is that of stock yet you have twice the power.

An ignorant tard who gives you a fucked up basemap is likely going to work better than either FMU or AFC. Not that it's a great idea to boost on a basemap, but it's that much better than FMU or AFC.
