FMU question

Default FMU question

i got a fmu and it part of my turbo. i was wondering if i hook it up b4 the turbo install, will it affect anything? also, i was think of puttin in the inline fuel pump in too, to ease the turbo install. any remarks are good...thanks

no it will not affect anything because it will not bump the fuel pressure up because it will not see any positive pressure. It will just let the fuel return back to the tank. You can also put in the inline fuel pump just don't have it powered up yet. It will just let the fuel flow through it. I ran like this for awhile because my turbo didn't have the right fittings.

The fmu will not affect anything unless it sees positive pressure. The only way it will see positive pressure is with boost.

ditto what the other guys said. i hooked up my inline pump and fmu and actually drove with it for a bit before doing the rest of the install.
