Custom Turbo Setup Advice?
I really wanna go turbo, but i dont wanna buy a turbo kit. If i wanted to go with something like a t3/t4 hybrid turbo, what all does a person need. I know there are alot of parts that go into building a good turbo setup, and thats partially why i want to do it myself. I would love to learn, but need some help.
What are all the parts a guy needs to make this work.
Thanks

OK I might help you out here since I just finish my turbo collection and began on my 95 teg...
Here what you need:
1. Turbo manifold for your car. Make sure you ask whomever sell you the manifold if that fit your car and does it fit your turbo sides..
2. The turbo it self. (t25,t3, t3/t4 hydrid. or t4)
3. Intercoller. ( the bigger the better)
4. Wastegate. This connect to the turbo manifold and regulate your boosted if you dont know.
5. the down pipe. This pipe also connect to the turbo manifold and go out to your exhaust cat then back...
6. Get a upgrade fuel pump. Get walbro 255, they very good and can handle lots of boost pressure.
7. The blow off valve. This let off the boost when you let go off the gas if you dont already know.
8. THis is simple. Go to home depot or any where that sell pipe's and get a few because you need to connect them together...
And also not but not least buy a missing link.. That units help you stop your ECU to see boost if you not running stand alone ECU.
To all the talking here is a great link for you to follow...

my guess is you dont kno to much about turbo's....save yurself the hassle and get a bolt on kit....www.slowboyracing.com check out there turbo kits for hondas they are great kits and are easily upgradeable....Mike Huml is the owner of the company and a great guy to deal with the kits come with everything and start around 1200.00.....save yurself the time a trouble, unless you have good kno how you can just get into a big mess with a custom setup....especially if you go with the bigger is better concept which my guess is the way you would be driven to go....bigger the intercooler is not better and nore is using a big turbo, an efficent intercooler and turbo is the best way to go.....but again save yourself the trouble and just start off with a ready to go kit, thats the best way to learn and then build fom that as your turbo knowledge expands.....
