fmu good or bad

Is a fmu good to run on a stock ls motor with 7 psi

I use them only if bosting less ~6psi or less and wit inline high flow fuel pmp.. wut is ratio on the fum u want to use?

Its fine if you only boost a little bit like you are. They get a bad rep because nobody ever tunes with with a wideband so they have no idea where the fuels at. If you dont have any kind of ignition management at least retard the distributor.

Isnt that because an FMU isnt tunable?

Sorry I was refering to adjustable ones. However if its not you could swap discs out.

My FMU worked well for when I no longer wanted my ring lands attached to my pistons.
