is it ok to drive in the rain? does the fmic rust? thanks. this is my first turbo build.

Its aluminum, won't rust. Water wont affect it

think of the intercooler as a radiator, except instead of fluid passing through, its air.

depending where your air filter is your filter could suck in water if you went through a big enough puddle but definitly not through the intercooler

filter is right on the turbo, by grill and front support beam. i'm prob gonna get a heat/splash shield for it. thanks for the info.
