Re: First Turbo, Which one? (Bonestock98GS)
I would like 300 min whp. Low boost for DD and I would also like to drag race it also.
EDIT: The motor is a STOCK B18C1. I would like to keep the Stock internals. I am also using a GSR LSD Tranny.

Well I would say you can do 300 with a T3/T4 easily stock internals. But you have many more options out there like the GT28R. Either one of those can get you there and your Tune is the most important factor getting you there and being reliable also

Re: First Turbo, Which one? (Bonestock98GS)
I would recommend for a 300whp DD on a B18C1 a STC3255.
It has done 306whp and 208ft/lbs @ 10psi on your exact motor. Schister66 has this setup. I hope he chimes in.
Here is a great place to start if you need to start to put together a kit.

yeah, the gt28 is about twice as much.
That turbo will get you to your goals just fine, and it will be quite a bit cheaper.
Im unsure of spoolup times, but I imagine the gt28 could be a bit faster due to it's ball bearing characteristic.

I was thinking the same due to the ball bearing but since the T3/T4 is cheaper I think I should go for that one. Anyone else got any ideas?
