Default turbo question HELP!!!!

my current setup is a stock gsr top&bottom j1 tranny and a straight t3 turbo. when it was dynoed i was very disapointed. i only made 175 and i forgot how much torque. the little turbo stop making power after 7200ish rpms. so ive been told i need a bigger turbo. my question is what turbo do i upgrade to. keep in mind its a stock motor. but i want a strong power band. looking for in the neighborhood of 250hp. what experiences do yall have with yalls setup.
hope my questions were clear.
thanks

probably a t3/t4 57 trim would be perfect for you, full boost around 4.5 and will pull till reline. should see 250 at about 7 psi also. Or if you have cash, a gt28r/gt28rs would be the best bet, spools quick and can make that power.
