nice job....

the t04-15G, with little mod can take 18T and 19T compressor wheels and have max flow at about 36-40 lb/min

Might have to do so in the future then...Do you just have to port the compressor housing to make it fit?

can't port it... it has to be cnc machined machined on a mill or lathe.

you cannot do it on your own, the clearances between wheel and housing are so precise and small you could never do it with two hands, much less one

i agree...

better buy the 19T housing and send the catridge to a lathe expert.

the job must be done by a very experience lathe operator.

lathe can catch the cartridge and center it very well. its easy for an expert operator

the cartridge backplate isn't the issue, anyone with a lathe can do that.

the hard part is the compressor cover, it's hard to clamp it in a lathe properly without marring the diffuser or the cover in general

Where did you get the rebuild kit from?

Got the kit from ebay. If i get the 19T wheel later down the line I'm pretty sure I'll need to get another rebuild kit that way I can swap from a flatback to a superback, which is what the 19T wheel is I believe. Also, It'd probably be easier to just buy a new compressor housing, as I bet it is probably very difficult to machine as said earlier

That's why you clamp it by the compressor inlet with a smaller clamping chuck. Then you can access the contour of the compressor cover more easily.

But the backplate is the key. Its easier to machine the backplate for the contour than the compressor cover unless you're working with an extended tip exducer model compressor wheel..
