it depends on how crazy the timing curve is. my car was tuned at one shop in colorado springs, and when i took it to a friend of a friends shop he said the timing was "dangerious". It made 379 on 11 psi, crazy aint it

mine is a fairly conservative tune. Max power doesnt matter when it blows up. I am very happy with my results.

IMO that compression ratio is kinda low, i would stick with the 10:1cr ratio, i think it would of made more power with the stock GSR compression ratio..

FYI 9:1 is the norm when building a boosted honda motor that is going to run on pump gas....

That 1 point in compression is worth 10-20whp and thats it.

the turbo isnt that small, i made 300whp on 8 psi with the same turbo/peakboost version1 kit and only 21* total timing with a friends gsr.

that setup could make 400 no doubt the way it sits, if that was your goal.

crxcel, you are 100% right that max power dont matter when it blows up. 361 is perfect for the street and the motor will go a very long time on it. now all you have to do is stay up on oil changes and take the car wherever you want to go.

as a baseline of last year, total stock GSR with smae kit and 750 injectors and it made 240hp @8lbs. just changing camshafts, intake and pistons, it made 290hp @ 8lbs this year, so I dont think that the compression hurt me. And you guys are right perfect street motor, thats where it spends 90%of its time.
