I have a 97 ls and put an fmax kit on it, ran it with the stock headgasket for about 20 minutes, thought we blew the headgasket (tons of white smoke) but no cracked all 4 pistons. I'm pretty much broke I ended up buying an R so should brand new factory pistons/rings/bearings be ok to run on low boost cause I can't have this happen again.

 

low or no boost preforably, some people seem to think running boost while breaking in an engine is a good thing.
