The Dark Side Beckons...
Alrite everyone... the dark side has been screaming my name ever since I did my motorswap, and this afternoon I came across the oppourtunity to actually answer the call!
Here's the deal... Its a drag 2 kit with everything I need, and for damn cheap. The turbo was just rebuilt and has around 20 miles on it. Im SO tempted, especially because I just plan on boosting 7 lbs until I can get another block and get it sleeved.
Here is the thing: I absolutely DID NOT want to boost on my stock pistons! To all you boost gods -- can I run 7lbs (or whatever the drag2 stock boost is) on my stock pistons with no tuning and just adding a bunch of fuel? Is it safe? I need opinions/suggestions.
I want to boost so bad, but I really dont want to do things half assed.
CLIFFS: Should I boost 7lb on stock pistons on my JDM GSR???

Chaaa... Um, like the JDM ITR is 11.1:1, the JDM GSR is 10.6:1...
You might be pushing it a bit with 7 psi on 10.6:1... If you run the same boost you'd run on a US ITR, you should be fine...

Know your facts or state that youre not 100% sure next time. If you try to tell me something thats tottally off then I WILL correct you. If you dont like being corrected, then go somewhere else, or know your **** first before posting.

keep it at 5psi just to be careful
