FINALLY BOOSTED!!! Dyno chart inside :-D
Did you say that you are going to PIR this Friday? As in tomorrow?
I looked on the web site and it said they are not open tomorrow (April 1st)...
Are they open but just didn't post it on their site? I want to go if they are open...
Let me know!

There is a swap meet so I will be there anyway. I dont think there is racing...but it would be nice....rain permitting.
Car weighs 2100 w/out me and 2250 with me. SRT-4's w/out driver are 2900 lbs. So i nearly have a 1000 pounds on them. Plus I'm turning it up to around ~12/15psi this weekend. 250 whp neons run mid 12's...stock srt-4s with a good driver hit 14.0's I built the quickest srt-4 in the NW....ran a 12.8@110 two years ago. I'm pretty sure I'll walk all over any SRT-4 in the NW. They have a really hard time getting past 12.5 (takes a **** ton more money for them) For me I just have to raise fuel pressure and boost :-D

to class i go

****, that's nice power for such low boost. I too have a 2.4L in my Volvo, but it took me 19psi to get 300whp on my little baby turbo. I'm now saving for a nice big ball bearing turbo and new manifold.... i'm just wating until I pay off my motor build. (I bent 2 or 3 rods after a few months of 300whp)
Now the manifold you're using has got me thinking! I'm also in the same boat where my turbo sits behind the motor... however, your setup solves that probem completely. Very interesting. I could do away with my airbox, move the battery and have the turbo in a very nice position.

Oh and i love the torque of my motor too
but you can see where my turbo just chokes out..

The only thing I would worry about is having proper airflow if you were to move the turbo there. Hopefully the air wouldn't get trapped in that area, thus causing everything to get over exposed to heat. At least behind the motor the air can still fall out and under the car.

Not sure what you mean by all this, but there are many poeple that have the basic bolt-ons and $3600 Stage 3 that hit mid to low 12's.

With the smaller turbo, the SRT motor builds intial torque alot quicker, but in the end your pretty much the same as a stock to mild bolt-on SRT. However your a little trimmer
around the love handles
I wouldn't have any doubt that you could hang or take one, although if you both got caught well into the depths of the mid range, the SRT low end may have advantage.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Why would you even say he will hang with one? I personally think he'll demolish and SRT-4! No offense, but that's what I was talking about cocky SRT drivers! Always think they are impossible or hard to beat!

Westrock... I made Jarrens srt-4 run a 12.8 before they had stage1!!! Also I said the NW. I was the first person to make downpipes, o2 housings, upgraded turbo kits, and integrated downpipes for the srt-4. PVO SRT on srtforums has the turbo kit I made... 420 whp
Remember @7psi these were my numbers. Also my car weighs ~2200 with me in it...about 900 pounds lighter than you in your car. Plus... I bought some C12 at Baxters tonight and cranked the boost up to 15psi. My IDC's on 05 srt-4 injectors at 70 psi is near 90% (577cc at 55psi) so you do the math how much power im putting out now. http://www.rceng.com
I will not only keep up with your srt-4, but I will walk away from it like it was teathered to a ******* pole.
No hard feelings, its just the way it is. Harv's 411whp neon ran a 11.12 on 22 inch slicks. Ayala is making CLOSE to 500 with boost and spray and he runs 10.5's with major traction issues. Not to forget the great Steve-O who owned the FWD-ProAm class last year with his 9.8 second pass in an auto 2.4L Havent seen any srt-4's breaking the 9's...or 10's lately. Psi-fi can try, but they are a joke. They're to busy making fake diagrams of physic's concepts they cant even come close to grasping with ******* MS paint.
Enough ranting about srt-4 owners and their crappy forums.
Amen for Honda-tech
planning on a trip to woodburn saturday weather permitting. I will dial in my afr's tomorrow and get my timing dead nutz on. Install the big slicks and have at it.
video, pics, and timeslips coming soon! Maybe I can wipe my *** with an srt-4

I said that a SRT setup has more intial TQ, which it does. I said that ultimatly he's makeing as much power as a normal SRT which he is, I then concluded with the fact that he weighs considerably less (and alot less than I would have guessed too).
I then go on to say that I have no doubt that he could take one, except to watch out for a low RPM dig where the low end TQ could be an advantage. Is this a big deal in terms of racing on the highway?? No. Maybe in daily driving habits it would make a difference or perhaps coming out of a turn.
I'm sorry did I miss something? Get back in line.
EDIT: I'm not sure where this is going at all. I didn't criticize any one at all. And the only thing I was pointing out on the 1/4 times, was that you said it takes "a **** ton more money for them" to get into the mid 12's. I simply replied that many are doing it with bolt ons and Stage 3, so if ~$5000 is "**** ton" money in your opinion, then I guess so. I spent that much on my Integra and still had a slow *** car....but I learned FI > NA all day. So you guys are the cocky attackers here.

5000 dollars is a lot!!!! I have 10k into my car including the cost of the car....and EVERYTHING. So 5k for a 12 second pass is a lot o money...especially after you just spent 21k on your new car. You can run 12's easily Im not denying that...but DD 11 second slips are hard to come by for srt-4 owners with out spending 5k like you said.
Again nothing against you... I just happen to agree with the majority of the HT members.
peace out!

why does your torque fluxuate soo much?</TD></TR></TABLE>
actually.......
its pretty smooth from alot of the SRT's I've seen. Alot of those guys do all these little crap mods without thinking about things (like $30 boost controller, bending springs on waistegates), and the turbo spikes horribly at the beginning. So they get these fantastic peak numbers, but I don't think its worth the abuse. My peak is at 4500, versus 2500-3000 like some poeple.
But, as I said before these things have small turbos that get the snot boosted out of them, so they run out of steam kinda early.
At least that what it seems like. It could be the head design it self, but that just doesn't seem to be true, because alot of the guys that upgrade to the T3/T4 gain a ton of horespower simply because they are able to maintain the TQ out to redline.
If I could even maintain my own TQ out to redline I'd pickup almost 50HP. The Stage 3 turbo really isn't that much bigger (still smaller than a T3/T4 I do believe). It pretty much just amplifies the stock TQ curve with an OEM fit, finish, and install to boot.
Thats my biggest gripe about the power in this car is the top end, however as far as just sitting in a gear and punching it,, its pretty exciting (like lane changing!).

Well lets not get into comparing the cost of new versus used, thats a bad argument. Obviosuly there are advantages and disadvantages to both.

the small turbine housing on the stock srt-4 makes the torque peak soo soon, the compressor is too small to sustain the CFM it requires to keep making power at higher rpms.
the stage 3 turbo doesn't impress me at all. 12's should be possible with a stage1...I dont see why people arent running faster times.
anyhew im out for tonight....booty calls :-D

UPDATE!!!!
Went to woodburn and ran a 13.4@108 on street tires...slick wheels didn't clear the calipers
2.2/2.3 60's limited me from running faster times. Car ran great...blew off the IC piping once, other than that flawless.
On the way home I raced my first srt-4. As I was coming up on it I noticed a
"REnglish" sticker on the rear window... remembering the last time I saw that sticker was at woodburn where two 1stgen eclipses were running low 11's on pump gas. So, I'm thinking this thing might be fast. We go from 3rd gear on I-84 and run thru 4th. He pulled a good car length on me. So thinking something must be wrong...we race again. Sure enough a good car length on me! So I'm thinking wtf!!! I should've smoted this guy. We pull off and stop at a gas station along I-84. He had a Stg6 AGP kit on his car. hhaha said he made 396 on pump gas at 23psi. Said he ran a 12.4@120 at PIR. He also said that he was running low boost at the time(which I didn't catch how much psi or how much power that was)
So I didn't get to murder the first srt-4 I raced, but at least I lost to a badass one :-P And to my surprise...he was really ******* cool.
I Just bought the fuel fittings and line I need to put my 1:1 regulator on and turn it up so I can have fuel :-D.
Im still tuning part throttle, and fiddling around with putting all the parts back on my car.
Things to do this week...
grind calipers so slick wheels fit
get part throttle tuned
lean it out to 11:1 and NOT 9.5:1/10:1!!!! too ******* rich!!!!
put front bumper on
put plastic back on the inside
Fabricate 6pt cage
start making the exhaust for it....so it can be quiet again!

i know what ur saying about people not being faster , a buddie of mine has a 04 with a few bolt-on's intake, up-pipe, wastegate ack, coil pack ,spearco font mount and he's running an open o2 , he made 283hp and 316tq with no stage one, and with his 75 shot he made 363hp and 425 tq at MSP in frederick md, and he ran a 12.3 on 18's..
