6th gen = fat ***
That's a "Club Si myth". There's less than 100lbs diff between 5th adn 6th gens of the same trim. Do a search on all the weight related threads. Or you can check out the MS Excel file I slapped together which has a bunch of 5th & 6th gen weights and corresponding mods: Civic Weights

yah...that seems a bit heavy to me too. Oh well for 12lbs of boost that is an incredible timeslip.

My 93 si weights 2640 with me and the cage in it. Looks like I need to put my motor and turbo into my girls 96 hatch.

In another post regarding boost creep, you mention:

"Ok I have a ek9 with a fully build gsr block Its got
Golden eagle sleeves
JE piston
portflow head
crower rods
and a REV HARD stage 2C turbo kit with my own t04 straight turbo
Im using the rev hard equal lenght manifold
and have a 42.5mm turbo innovation wastegate
with a Blitz SBC boost controller"

If this is the same car you are talking about in this post, why did you mention you have Stock Sleeves in this post, but mentioned you have Golden eagle sleeves in the other post? In the other post you mentioned you had Crower Rods but in this post you have Eagle Rods. In the other post you were dynoing your car at 22psi. Are you sure you weren't boosting 22psi on your 11sec. pass instead of 12psi? Also, were you running Open Header or did you run with an Exhaust? Please clear up this confusion! Thanks.

Congratulations on the 11 sec. pass! You must have done that at Woodburn? You have given me something to shoot for next season ( this is Richard from Washington ). I know that all you guys from Ground Zero are good drivers!

Default Holy ****!

With that trap speed and ET, your car is making over 350whp on 12psi of boost.

How you dyno'd your car?

What else are you running... cuz 350whp is at least 70-80 whp more than what most people are able to make on the same setup.

I don't think hatchy was in disbelief of the actual time posted. It's just the weight of the car doesn't add up to the trap speed and setup.

u guys still havnt explained why ur damn hatch wieghs 2950. I dont doubt a hatch could run 11's on 12psi but i dont think a 2950lb hatch could. thats like a 600lb driver, how fat r u?

hahaha, the driver Khamlane probably weighs around 145-150 (guess). To tell you the truth i don't think the car weighs that much.. When Scott (streetracer) and i were talking the other night he told me that they weighed the cars on a semi truck scale.... Anyone know if a 2600lbs. car would be inaccurate on one of those??? I dunno. We gotta weigh it again somewhere else.. Latez

The weight is wayyy off. And yes, it is a myth that 6G hatches are heavy. According to the scales at this year's SCCA autox Nationals, mine weighed 2185 with no rear seat. I've still got AC, stock front seats, radio, 15 lb Diamond Racing wheels, big-*** sway bars, etc...

edit: for comparison's sake, a fellow competitors 92 CX with a b16a swap, race seats, no rear seat, 11 lb race wheels, and carbon hood weighed 2100 on the same scales.
