answer:
the emanage alone (and stock injectors) i dont think is enough for your 300hp goal. my oppinoin, sell it, get some management, and some 550's. and yes the 255 will help. the rail isnt really needed. a stock rail can support 400-+

next question...do i need to purchase an ignition box and external coil for my distributor? will this help much?

answer:
again depending on your power output and if you need some sort of launch assist i.e. 2 step. stock honda dizzys are up to the task if a good bit of power.
but if you need stuff, i got my 6al from jegs.

and lastly...what is an oil restrictor? what does it do? do i need one? and if so, how is it installed?

answer:
does your kit have -3 or -4 an feed line? if it is -4, then yes i would suggest a restrictor. it is a "resistor" for the oil line cutting down the volume of oil going to the turbo. too much will pass the seals into the housings. others will tell you, you need one on -3 also. i have been running -3 line for 6 years and never had an issue.

for stock injectors.
you need 450 - 550's for that. and if it is not ultimate, you cant adjust timing.

it isnt management. just a piggy back.

here is a chart for hp / injector size.
your stockers are 240cc/min +- they arent going to do it.

crome pro is 150 dollars and will blow eManage out of the water.

U will need atleast 550's for anything over 300, and u will need the walboro.

W/o these things ur gonna fucksomething up quicktime.

timing has alot to do with it, too much you melt stuff, not enough, you arent making power. if it is the e manage you are ok, but if it is just a blue box you cant. greddy recomends only going 50% bigger on injectors. so thats 350cc/min

and trhat will only get you about 250 to the wheels.

you dont need aem.
crome, neptune, there are a few out there. crome is free just need a socketed ecu.

either way have fun good luck.
for your pistons and ringlands sake, do it right if you dont have the money for management.

thanks 93SC.

Stop hating on the e-manage!! I've boosted 25k miles on it, 2 years of my stock LS seeing 10psi daily with 156k miles on the clock. It's not the best, but if he's already got it, I'd stick with it.

I would have to agree with this one. We've successfully used 660cc injectors with the original e-manage on several LS and B16 Turbo setups, and it can work VERY well. The 660cc is about the maximum with the "blue" version, but it is not the glorified AFC, that people tend to believe.

fuel rail was a waste. injectors and walbro are a MUST!

oil restrictor: restricts the amount of oil the turbo sees. saves the seals in the turbo so you dont blow them and have oil in your piping and downpipe. $14 from atp, stealthmode, etc. and is about the easiest thing to install

$120 chipped phearable ECU with crome for FREE FTW
