Default FI crx project (42R inside)

First off I want to thanks Earl laskey and Geoff Racier (and Todd that started to work for Hasport) for providing me with a lot of great stuff for the 2007 season.

(recieved engine parts yesterday)
Engine is placed on top of a plastic box.
Im not ever half done with the car, but hopefully it will be up running summer 2007 hoping to make a some power, and of course good tracktimes.

The car is only storedin a small garage waiting for our new workshop.

I want to share some of the pictures, hope you like it

wow

it will be interesting to see how you fit the intercooler/radiator and dumptubes for the wastegate, the ef's take some innovative thinking to fit everything... any more pics of the front intercooler/piping/bumper action?

What turbo is that? I see it is a 1.28 A/R? By the compressor cover it looks too small to be a GT42R but I could be wrong

Edit it is a gt4294 with 70inducer and 94mm exducer.
Copyed from (mail)Geoff: The compressor housing you have is a gt40R compressor housing which has had the ported shroud completely removed and in place a conical inlet. Then the housing is machined to accept the 94mm compressor wheel. This is an extremely responsive 800-850 whp turbocharger which will actually work better than the true 4094 with ported shroud.

From the looks of the interior it's not a SFWD class car so I doubt it will need a front mount Air/Air IC.

Yeah I made that mistake also, It looks like no room, but the engine is not installed, but sitting on a plastic box.

Thanks guys,

Yes as said the engine is just placed on top of two plastic boxes, as I am rewelding new stronger motormounts.
The engine is set too far from the driverside wall. So I have more room even dough the crx is pretty tight...
