tony my spool time slowed down when i went from 11:1 and 2 degrees of retard to 12.5:1 and 0.6 degrees of retard. this also fixed my boost spiking/creeping.
please no jokes about how retarded i used to be. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Very weird Joe, i've never seen this happen on the dyno??

I start about 13.9 af's and richen up until I get to my desired boost level and then I run the af's flat until rev limit. I havent check if it actually spools the turbo faster but it make more power in the lower rpm's. You will be alot happier with the throttle respose and drivability.

this happens on the street not on your fairy world dyno
maybe its cause i have no traction and never end up spooling at WOT i swear i usually boost at only 50% throttle thanks to stock tires spinning.

That's exactly how i do it and it has always worked good for me

lol. when I first started tuning a couple years ago i would try too get the af curve as flat as possible all the across the the rpm band and I would brag about it. little did I know that I was losing about 10lbs of torque on the bottom end of the curve
I guess we all learn someday
