Default ignition timing

hey guys .. fisrt post on this forum, i used to be a toyota guy til my car was wrecked.

anyone know how much boost a stock f23 can run safely? thanks

not much, the ringlands are not very strong.

keep it low boost and don't get greedy and you'll be fine. unlike myself.

been running 6-11 psi (average 8) with a t3t4b for 16,000 miles no problems

k what kinda of power were you getting with 8 psi , 200ish im guessing.

what needs to be done to get like 300hp.

also what is the size of the injectors.

199 hp @ 8psi
212 hp 228tq @10psi
fairly conservative tune
550cc injectors (i dont think they are near being maxxed out, probably running 70% duty cycle)

for reliable 300hp you need rods and pistons (~$1100), along with the obvious fuel and ignition upgrades, 3 bar map sensor, heavy duty clutch/pressure plate, etc.
