The cops should let Stan go at the *** munch for a few minutes....beat down is a must.
I think we, car inthusiasts, should push for a bill that allows us to do this if/when the perpetrator is caught.

It was a 1993 Lexus SC 300. The reserve was $7800 plus $189 for document fees. I talked him down to $7400....

Getting into this kinda late but does the fund still need some money?

I'd be glad to pitch in, its the least I could do... Maybe it'll pay for the gasoline that will burn the red altezzas and airplane wing

weird how so much caring comes out of so much misfortune

This may be a little late....since my car was stolen a few months ago, I have not been as active on these boards for fear the person who stole it lurks around here and there is an active investigation into the people I know stole it (aka Kai and Khamsone in Binghamton--I don't mind mentioning their names anymore since they are about to get whats coming to them).

I should just mention that my insurance company really tried to dick me even with 48 pages of receipts for all the parts in my car. I am currently sueing them for $30,000 and apparently have an open and shut case because my policy states i am to reimbursed "actual cash value". That is very important but it is easy enough to prove if you have receipts and can get quotes from reputable shops that build cars like these.

Never take what the insurance company has to offer you if you think you deserve more!!!

Tell them you are considering sueing them for "bad faith" also. That always gets their attention.
