hehe, i wish we could have blocked him, however, he does know about this post, i told him not to look at it, but naturally he couldnt resist, he saw the first few replies, and was extremely touched. He promised me he wouldnt read the rest of the post until after he got back to dallas. Trust me, if he read the whole thing, he couldnt help himself but to reply to everyone's kindness.

I will tell everyone as soon as the auction is over and I put a deposit on the car, otherwise, someone reading on this board may try to out bid me

 

The Miata community respectfully extends it condolences. We've heard about Stan's troubles over on the Miata Forum, and I would like to make a donation as well. From one import FI enthusiast to another, I hope that you come out of this situation favorably. It sucks to have a part of you stolen like that, and I can barely imagine your pain. We hope to see you on the streets again soon, even better and faster than before. We need people out there to give our FI Miatas a challenge!

its wierd, i was thinking about his car today in class (ha, what else do i do in school) and i was thinking about starting a thread for people to make donations so he could get a new car... got home from school and here it was! I dont know him or anyone on this site that well, but i am positive that he is very deserving of this money! sending money by USPS as we speak!

C'mon man...Im/we'er dieing to know....its obviouse that you won the aution if you are sending out a deposite. For some reason Im asuming a SUV...but im probably worng...

 

lol well actually i didnt win the ebay auction, we made a deal outside of ebay. No its not a SUV, its somewhat sporty

 

so if you made a deal you can tell us.... I promice non of us will buy it out from under you....
