Extra injector controller with stock ecu good??D16y7
Ok guys im new to hondas ( i own scirocco 16v turbo with GT30R) but my wife is finaly got the bug so i will build her a kit, I need to know about fueling, i will run a 2 injector controller probably 380cc x2 on her 98 civic cx stock, i want to keep things simple, will this along with 255lph fuel pump be enough to run 7-9psi intercooled? i do not want to run a fmu. What about missing link when will i need one? I will be using a GT22 turbo among other good parts

Yeah you'll need a missing link, you may also need something to retard ignition timing at those boost levels. 1 stage colder plugs are a must as well.

Re: Extra injector controller with stock ecu good??D16y7 (turbozxi)
What do you think is the best methods for fuel my D16y7 for around 7-9psi, the SDS EIC is good for a additional 160hp for 2 extra injectors, so fueling will be ok, i was going to retard -2 from the start and always run 94 oct and maybe 2 steps colder, my GT22 will run 80% efficency in the boost that i will be running, along with my 24x6x3.5" garrett core. It should be fine?

I've seen several attempts and additional injector controllers and they never seem to turn out very well. This may be due to the people who install and tune these controllers, but I can't be sure. I am sure that an FMU can be very reliable (and cheap) for the application you are describing, you might want to look into that.

Re: Extra injector controller with stock ecu good??D16y7 (Phantom)
Yeah well that's what im trying to find, because it ruuns fine on other vehicules that i have put it on, stock like driving off boost and plenty of fuel under load, good recipe for success, and too easy to operate. But i would need a missing link or check valve right? Thanks

Would reccomend getting it on the dyno just to make sure.

Do a search for "Uberdata".
You will need about $100 for an conversion harness to run an obd1 ecu (92-95),
and an additional $50-100 for a socketed p06 ecu. Figure in another $50 for a set
of DSM 450cc fuel injectors and a resistor box from an older honda. You can keep
your stock fuel pump. That is all you need.
All of these parts can be had for cheaper if you scrounge around.
Check out:

and make sure to do a search for uberdata. Will end up costing you much less
than an IIC for a setup thats 100% better.
