you guys could probably make that much hp. Probably within the 200-250 hp depending on tuning. But with a B18 C5 stock, you'll be lucky if it lasts. Compression ratio would be too high, 11.5 I believe. I suggest lowering the comp. ratio a little bit, just to be on the safe side.

Compression is 10.6 for USDM ITR not 11.5. I've been running on 11.1 for the past year and have done 3 full track days with it @ 10psi using band-aid pos management and its still lasting.....

I reckon over 300whp fo sure at 8psi with that turbo and mani

I agree with Itr206

I think well all be suprised to see the results, I mean the average, and many Itr's Ive seen on the board are making around 290-305 on 6-7 psi tuned, so with Jordo's bigger turbo, FullRace Kit, 8 psi, and Tony on the labtop, I think well be seeing around 330/235.

Jordo if you make your goals, or a satisfying # on less boost are you going to stop, or are you going to tune for sure to 8 psi. I guess Tony will have some input as well on the dyno.

admitting your problems is the first step to recovery Since you first stated it was 11:1, then used a quote from some unknown source saying 10:2:1 i really hope your post is true instead of sarcasm...

We can all guess these high hp numbers on his stock bottom end but it's going to come down to how far Jordo and Tony1 want to push it. Jordo has to make the drive back to his state too.

My official guess: 330whp

I made 280whp with the good old FMU setup, a turbonetics 60-1 HIFI and no tuning at all at 7.5psi on my bone stock ITR motor.

The B18c5 is rated at 195 horse power at the crankshaft. Regardless of turbo charger size, if this kit is set up to produce 8 pounds of boost at redline, with a properly sized intercooler, and correct tuning this should produce around 290 horse power at the crankshaft. Front wheel power numbers will be even less due to drive train losses. This is a "ball park" figure, as their are many variables to be considered, but this is guaranteed to be closer than any others previosly posted.

I will make a friendly internet bet he will put down at least 290 wheel horsepower and he will hold 8lbs from 4900RPM to 9100RPM

If this B18c5 is bone stock, with the only modification being a turbo kit that produces 8 pound of boost, I'm sticking to 290 at the crank.

My educated guess would be 250-260 whp at 8 psi if only reving to 8200 or so on a mustang type dyno, closer to 275 on a dynojet, and 600hp if the car is yellow...ha ha
Seriously though, the turbo's size and fuel management/tuning will have huge affects on the actual #'s
