Any of you guys run them? I discovered after installing my turbo kit and running a 2.5 mandrel bent DP into the stock exhaust it choked the turbo considerably. I lost 2 PSI of boost, and it spooled a lot slower. I was wondering if a cutout before the cat for drag racing purposes(at the track) would be a good idea? A local muscle car shop has them in stock(2.5") but only come in pairs so I'll be posting the other for sale if anybody wants to try it.

Thats an excellent idea i had one for a little while and it made a night and day difference, plus your turbo will love it. Before the cat is the perfect spot (it simulates running open downpipe). Mine had a gate that you could open from inside the car with a little lever connected by cable, I'd pull up at a stop light quiet as ever and take off sounding like I'm at the track depending how cocky the driver in the other lane was, I did that to mustangs whether or not they were cocky.
