Default Turbo cat back exhaust

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a cat back exhaust to put on once the turbo is there and the largest I've found is about 2.75" even though it's advertised as 3". Will this flow enough for a turbo motor? seems a little small.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-19...Q5fAccessories

Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks
Malcolm

I'd hold out for a real 3" one. It's gotta be out there. I think it will say 76mm.

All exhaust pipe is measured in OD. So 3" pipe is never really 3" ID

So is that pretty much what you guys are running on the turbo setups? I plan to have a cut out for the track but I'd still like to have some good power and air flow on the street.

I've been looking over that kteller website and it's pretty expensive. Instead of $179 for a cat back it's $425 for aluminized and $525 for stainless.

Did you guys with kteller measure the ID of your pipes? was it a true full 3" ID. Is it really worth me paying more than double for it?

Thanks for input

Malcolm

How is it worth it? What makes it worth paying more than double the one I posted a link to above? I'm not saying it's not worth it, just want to know what makes it worth that.

Well, just like what the V8 guys have, you're paying for the materials. good 3" (OD) steel is not cheap, no matter what platform you put it in. Simply because it is a Honda doesn't make it any less expensive. For $525, that's pretty damn good, as most of the custom exhaust systems people have are over $600 fully installed.
