Evaluate this setup before it gets ran...

no ones arguing, but the point is. a properly tuned car on hondata, aem, etc. will all run the same.
btw, id expect even gooberdata to idle 1000cc with ease
now 1600 cc. thats more like it

It started to show some spikes in the knock, so they didn't want to turn it up anymore. It was running 93 octane.
Garage Kwai by Chicago did the EMS tuning.

100 octane and more boost here we come. Look for a yellow EK Si at BOTI 9/18-9/19</TD></TR></TABLE>
Hey Ranta, does this yellow EK have blue wheels on it? I passed by Kwai a while ago to pick up some parts and I remember seeing this car in the front of the shop. I went to take a look at it since the hood was open and everyone was surrounding the car. I think the owner of the car said he needed a base map to get the car started or something. I remember the car having problems and the thing was leaking oil out of all the exhaust ports. One of the mechanics there pulled all the plugs and they were completely full of oil. The people at Kwai asked the owner about it and he didn't say much and his buddies were very surprised since the owner said he built the motor. They cleaned up as much of the oil as possible and they did a compression test on that motor and the cylinders had about 135-140 compression. I picked up my parts and left the shop and I didn't know they put it on the dyno. That was like a month or so ago. That tune is not the greatest, but I think this car has other problems. For the setup that you posted Ranta, that car has very bad compression. Ask your friend if this was the car, I'm almost sure it is because I remember seeing a deck plate on it.

Yes it is the same car but no oil was coming out of the exhaust ports the valve cover was not tightened down. thus oil on top of the spark plugs. It just went on the dyno last weekend when they did the compresion test it had only been ran for about five minutes. it's 9-1 commpresion and the rings had not seated yet. the main issue right now is the timing was set at around 30 degrees at 15 pounds of boost and everything I have heard it should be more around 20 degrees. Now I don't know how much money you have invested under your hood but when I spend this kind of money I want to be damn sure it gets tuned right the first time that is why I took it to a supposed factory trained tuner and was charged way to much money for a dangerous (at the least) tune!
haha, factory trained tuner...
i can tell you that factory trained does NOT mean the person knows how to tune a car, that just means they know how to use the aem ems software. you dont understand how many times i have seen "factory trained tuners" completly fubar a car, to the point of having to be towed away from the dyno.
due to the complexity of the aem ems its important that the person has had the aem training, but remember... that dosnt mean they know how to TUNE a car.

I agree with this wholeheartedly.
