I'm trying to get opinions on good reputable shops that do sleeving preferably around the Chicagoland area, anybody have any opinions?

 

if i am not mistaken most shops just send the blocks out to places like lasky.darton,ge to get them sleeved anyways man

ERL is in Indiana or you can try Opel Engineering in Streamwood. When I had them do my sleeves a long time ago they weren't equipped to do AEBS but it sounded like they could do others in house.

Quality work from those guys. I'm on the same boosted bottom end from them for the past nine years!

 

I'll have to give that place in Streamwood a call, I don't think thats too far from me, how was the pricing?

 

Pricing was good for the quality I got. Like I said, 9 years on the same bottom end so even if you feel they're a little more expensive than the next guy it should save you money in the long run.

 

Hey, wait a min, TheShodan on here is from Chicago. I've heard him mention his machine shop a few times. Give me a few mins, i'll dig something up.

 

Yeah it's definitely worth a little extra money for better work, and yeah let me know what you find out about TheShodan, I wonder if they're pretty close by

 

Does "Autowerks motorsport" ring any bells ? Try looking them up ??

 

I know RC Autoworks but I have not heard of Autowerks Motorsport, I'll have to look them up. I haven't even asked RC if they do that yet, they're like 10 miles from my house haha. Good shop, great people

I'd see what there saying if there that close. It saves posting the block and the hastle that comes with it.
