Endyn catch can removal, how to take of aluminum plug???
Well I am having trouble taking my endyn breather off, there is a stamped aluminum plug to fill the stock breather hole that you have to tap in, I cant get it out. I tried punching a hole in it, beng it, grabbing the edge with pliers, nothing. this sucks, anyone have experience with this?

if its a freeze plug, you have to knock it sideways with a punch or something, then pull it out with vicegrips

ya I think it is. I tried your trick, however I could get the edge very good and just ended up hammering it in farther. Do you think I can push it out from the inside?

Not easily accessable from the inside.
I ended up trying to push it out from the inside.... I put a socket behind it then pryed it out with a beefy screwdriver. I was trying to save it to use over again. That didn't go so well so I drilled it then used a hook to pull it out.
I later bought the z10 plug which is worth the money.

is the plug completly inside of the hole? can you get ahold of 2 sides of it, and crush it (say with channel locks or something) that would make for easy removal
if its still sideways in the hole, try pryin it out with a prybar.

I finally got it out. I drilled it wide enough for a stock exhaust bolt, then got a crescent wrench and put the bolt through the plug and put the nut on via the bottom of the block. After that It took me about an hour of messing with it, once I got decent leverage it came right out

You can't quit man, this is like the Mob...once your in there is no getting out.
I tried to quit myself but it didn't work out. Sold my CRX last year thinking I could get rid of it for good but now I have an EK...LOL
I live with the Motto, "If it ain't got **** or burn gas I ain't playing with it."
Good luck with what ever your doing.

aha, but you might be wrong I am getting a YZ250F motocross bike and a 98+ BMW M Coupe (hardtop/hatchback) version of the M roadster in the next year. I want to go road racing and maybe some motocross races, instead of back road rally cross lol.
