Default Electronic Wastegate?

Do they make one for hondas? My bmw friend was talking about how they have a wastegate you can get, (if your bmw is turbod) and you can have different pounds of boost for different rpms, reducing lag. true? do they have one for honda? he said it was 8000 dollars. iono...

even if they did....WG now seem to work fine...plus they only us vacume source. One less thing to wire up.

Doesnt electronic boost controllers do that?

I thought the avc-r could be programmed to controll boost by rpm....
