Default Electric boost controller

I installed a greddy profec type s in my FI integra. I have a 7 psi spring and is a drag gen3 kit. right now i don't see a difference in boost when adjusting it. i turned it all the way up and i still only hit about 4 psi around 5k rpm ( which is wat i was doing before installing the controller ) . I dont push my car pass that much since i havent had it tuned and i dont have all my gauges up. Searching around i found that my spring should be fine, so do i need to tune it first before seeing a difference? ive looked over the install guide alot and it seems to be installed correctly, any suggestions would be cool

what is the size of your down pipe and exhaust? You may be creating a lot of back pressure and 5k rpms is not enough flow to make more boost. Good luck

check over all of your intercooler piping connections. sounds like you have a leak. the drag setup should easily build 10 psi by 4500.

i have 3 inch dp and exhaust. I checked one of my cuppling and there is a tear in it. I ordered new better quality ones and should get them in the next few days. Ill see if that fixes it but the tear wasnt to bad but will be looked into, not totally convinced that was the problem.

and when u say 10 psi by 4500, u mean full open throttle?

any other suggestions would be great

I was starting to think it was my boost gauge since i ghetto rigged the vacuum to the gauge, but i read 20 vacuum at idle, which i believe is normal. Im buying a new intercooler since my drag one is getting old and banged up and ill look into more leaks. Thx for the responses
