Default electic cutouts

Anyone running eclectic cutouts or does everyone just run open downpipes or 3in exhaust?

I'm thinking of running one on my next downpipe. It will be 3" to 2.5" catback. I already have the catback, so this will be a new venture with the fabrication of the downpipe. And it will allow me to hit my power goal hopefully and still work with my current exhaust.

This is my exact issue lol I have a 2.5in catback and a 3in downpipe and don't want to connect them and dyno the car without a cutout but I dunno if it will fit without bottoming out with it on speed bumps n what not

My car has a 3" turbo-back that tee's off just before the gas tank to a stock axle-back. The cutout is right before the gas tank under the heat shield, and the shield directs the gasses away from the tank. And yes, it's shot fire w/o issues. I had ignition cut enabled, and that can lead to flames shooting at redline.

If you want to tune it and then get the cutout, it can be done. Just disconnect the exhaust as close to where you want the cutout located (must pass the oil pan), then tune it that way. It will be quite rich, but will be right on when you add a cutout.

If you ahve S300/etc, have then tune it like that for the secondary maps, then reconnect the pipes and tune the main maps.
