Hey if Im running a 60-1 with a 3 in downpipe and it goes into 2 1/4 inch exhaust...is that too small of an exhaust system to be running? Should I upgrade to a 3in? If so where can I find one?

kteller has them, AFI makes them also, search 3" exhaust and I am sure you will find something

yes you should upgrade top a 3" but you could run what you have now untill you get the money

Actually I think my downpipe is the same...could I find another downpipe at kteller and afi

I talked to a guy the other day. I asked him a similar question. He had tuned a car before that ran 3" dp and tried to use stock exhaust. Car made no power at all. Took the exhaust off and ran open dp, picked up like 70-80whp.

If the open dp is to much noise, Id go ahead and buy the 3" Kteller exhaust or something. Never use a smaller exhaust than your dp. As soon as the gas hits the downpipe it expands fast.

Ok so I should just run open downpipe then for now? until i get the exhaust piping?
