i buy a new EGT meter from Autometer ultra light.....install everything but don't work!

test the probe whit a another meter work so i change the meter for a another one bran new.......go up at 200F and stay there even when i 'm on boost.....does anyone know what is the problem??

i change the ground,the positive (directly from the bat) nothing change.....

 

Those stingers are very sensitive, if you drop one call it a day and get another. I know a guy that had to try 4 different stingers with his brand new autometer egt gauge before it worked properly.

 

stingers are probe? anyway EGT meter is very wiz to work whit!

Yea it is the probe they just call it a stinger for obvious reasons. Mine is currently down as well, I need to see if any stinger would work with my VDO or if I have to use theirs, I beleive they are universal though.
