Default Autometer EGT gauge anygood?

I have a chance to pickup a brand new Autometer 52mm sport comp EGT for $70. However I have heard that their probes are slow and not that good. Any input?

I have also heard a few bad thing about them. I have them on both my cars. The integra I use a team-rip probe and on the talon, i use a autometer probe. To me, they both work the same. I never had any problem with it.

Mine's fine. You have to buy the thermocouple separately, just make sure you get the right one and it will work fine. You can also use a different brand thermocouple if you want, but I wouldn't bother the autometer is fine.

My autometer boost gauge works fine. Accuracy has been verified when hooked up to the dyno tuning software.

there is nothing wrong with the gauge but some people complain that the probe sucks. I went ahead and got the team rip probe and it works great w/ the autometer agt gauge.

I got the stainless line and bung too. Good stuff
