i have one. i'm thinking about getting an ITR manifold instead. my compression is very low and i think i'll get more low to mid range power.
if i get the ITR manifold i'll have to get rid of my 70mm TB becuz i don't think the ITR manifold can be ported to fit the TB. it might run into an IAC port while porting.
i wonder if i'll lose power by taking both parts off.

Re: edlebrock IM power gains with turbo setup?? (ek9turbo)
The IM increases flow, then the boost presure should drop without you changing any wastegates, then if your turbo has the CFM you can turn the boost back up to where you were add before the IM was installed...
SOOO. If you gain 8hp per psi and the IM made your boost drop 3 psi ( not likely ), then you turn the boost back up to what ever it was before the IM install you should have gained appox. 24hp.... But I have no clue if the edlebrock IM makes sick power or not... But I'd also like to know.
BTW the same thing applies to heads and cams, if you runless boost without changing anything on the WG, then your making the same power at less psi ( meaning you'd be able to get away with less oct. too ).

Re: (Killer_B)
i have a type r IM if u decide to buy one !!
by the way i already installed the manifold took it to the track with out tuning and i ran like 12.3 @ 110 mph. with the type r manifold tuned i ran a 12.1 @ 118 mph!!
but still the car need to be retuned cause i can tell from the way it bugs when vtec is about to kick in till like 6000rpm( vtec crossover is 4800 rpm)
i guess i have to wait till i tune and then see
more opinions are welcome thanks
