ok so an ecu i just came by has an ecuhacker.com sticker on it and i was told it was chipped with chrome and tuned for 15lbs of boost on a b16 motor. i did some reserch and it seems like a bunch of people have gottin screwed over by this guy. i looked on here and only found one post that gave me no info. i even tryed going to their website and it seems that it has been shut down. if anyone could give me info on this it would be nice. here are some pics of the ecu.

and i have had another p28 chipped from spoon and this was right were the chip went and i cant really tell if this is oem or aftermarket but heres a pic of it:

It is chipped, but I wouldn't run it based on the info provided here. Get it tuned properly because you really have no idea what's on it.

yea... and i was going to try and send it to him so he could tell me what is exactly on it but i dont know how to get in contact with the company. and because its chippied i wont have to buy another program right? i can just have a tuner kind of like re- flash it right?

Just take the ecu and the vehicle to a local dyno tuner & have the car tuned using the socketed ecu

if you read that a bunch of people got screwed over by the guy and his website is shutdown... you should get the idea... i wouldnt trust a "tuned" map by a guy with that kind of rep.
take the chip out have someone burn on a basemap from xenoncron's bin directory. go to a tuner.

There's no way you can tune a car without actually doing it in person.
Take it to a tuner, and he will edit the program accordingly.

that looks like quite a few EBAY ecus i have seen over the past couple years in my time, didnt look bad, most looked good, i wouldnt trust and "tuning" they have done tho
