It depends on your budget and the features you want. You also need to make sure you have somebody local to tune whatever you buy. If you buy an EMS and you don't have any good EMS tuners near you, then you are screwed. I've run Hondata and AEM, currently running AEM for the extra features, but the Hondata was cheaper and got the job done. If I was doing it on a budget, then I'd chip my own ECU and run one of the freeware tuning apps like Uberdata.

Although you wouldnt be chipping an OBD2 ECU....so yes, OBD1 ECU and conversion harness is your friend
